We spent Christmas 2006 in our old house. This year Liam had more of a sense of the occasion - well, he knew of this bloke called Santa who, underneath the scary white beard and bellowing laugh, could be reliably tapped up for presents! Thus, we bought a tree (pictured).

Just after Christmas, Nonna and Noonoo came over from Italy with Liam's cousin Elisa (Valeira's sister's daughter), and as you can see the two of them had - for the most part (occaional tantrums aside) - a great time chasing each other...

Liam discovered the joys of hide-and-seek, though is still to grasp the complexities of the rules: always hiding under his duvet and shouting "I'm in the bedroom!" does detract from the tension somewhat.

I like the last picture of the two of them as this is what Liam looks like when he's less than enamoured of life...!
