Liam encounters a python

Quick one, this - the wholly admirable Botanic Gardens run by the University hosted Jay's Animal Encounters this summer and we went along. The possums were cool, especially discovering that they are marsupials, but the highlight was the big yellow snake.* Liam, having previously declined to entertain even the very notion of proximity, ended up wearing it around his neck...!


* We couldn't hear what it was called, but from the gallery on the website, it looks like it's Amber, the Albino Burmese Python...

Tongue flicking out and everything...
