The Liamosaurus walks the Earth!
For a special 'free-choice costume day' at school, Valeria went to extraordinary creative and logistical lengths to realise Liam's wish to go dressed as a dinosaur... ... and, ideally, a Giganatosaurus (which Liam saw once in a book and, upon learning that it was even bigger than a T Rex, became his default favourite dinosaur, ever).
So, here he is in his full get-up [palaeontologists, look away now]: green trousers, green (borrowed) stripey fleece, tail sewn together and then attached by velcro to his trousers, customised, green-felt gloves (from an old lions outfit), and - the piece de resistance, surely - sewn-on eyes and teeth on the hood, and scales over the skull fashioned out of egg cartons. (Did they screen Blue Peter out in Italy, in the 1970s?)
Oh, and not forgetting the papier mache egg - which, Liam informed us, hatched at lunchtime. The precise whereabouts of 'Son of Liamosaurus' are unclear, though the Durham constabulary assure us they are keeping the file open...
The roar of the Liamosaurus.
