Christmas 2010

A very happy Christmas to everyone - here are a few pictures from the day here in Durham, beginning with the Christmas Eve picnic (sausages, mash and peas cooked to an edible standard by Daddy) in front of the astoundingly good Japanese cartoon, "Spirited Away". (If you haven't seen it, do, it's like a demented 'Alice in Wonderland' - which, of course, is saying something.)

Then there is the grand unveilings of the prezzies, a task approached by Liam with the tenacity of a starved mountain lion happening upon a stricken goat...

Santa brought Liam (he still believes; we'll cross that bridge another year, it seems - or January, should one of his infidel school mates break the spell): loads and loads of Lego, which is perfect as he loves it...

So he's got a Minotaur Maze game (which is one of Lego's better 'board games', as it gets quite tense being chased around by a psychotic Minotaur, whose flagrant abuse of the rules - in Liam's hands - renders him unpredictable)...

... plus, a Lego 3-in-1 spaceship/speedboat which he made himself and a Spongebob set, complete with almost all the characters, Spongebob's house (utterly brilliantly designed; I loved making it), and a Krabby Patty oven...... and an Imaginex space shuttle and launchpad.
